Daughters of Botany

Daughters of Botany exists to create botanical solutions to restore and enhance the wellness and happiness of each individual. The brand was inspired by founder Sotonye Odugbemi’s rich cultural heritage and the generational line of strong women who believed in the bountiful properties available in nature. The inheritance of knowledge passed down by her grandmother and mother acted as the catalyst in finding alternative natural solutions to help enrich the lives of others.

With the launch of a new line of products, Daughters of Botany was in need of a brand identity that could encapsulate its vibrancy and genesis.

Inspired by the founder's Nigerian heritage and the legacy left by the women that came before, the brand identity draws inspiration from the relationship existing between people and nature. Organic shapes emulate the exquisite designs found in Nigerian fabric whilst the subtle changes within line weights serve to emphasise the artisanal creation of each product and their restorative perennial effects.
